Prof. Dr. Serkan Yılmaz: “Nüfusun iki katı sayıda hasta acillere yığılıyor ve acil servislerimiz şu anda şiddetin en yoğun yaşandığı yer.”
Her geçen gün artan Acil Servis başvuruları ve artan şiddet olayları karşısında sessizliğimizi bozduk. TATD Başkanımız Prof. Dr. Serkan Yılmaz Diken Gazetesi’nden Mesude Erşan ile konu üzerine konuştu.
“Acil servisleri pek çok insanın ölümün kıyısından yaşama çekildiği yer” olarak tanımlayan Prof. Dr. Yılmaz; gerçekten hayati riski olmayan yüzlerce kişinin buralara belki de bir “sarı serum” sipariş etmek için başvurduğunu dile getirmiş.
Prof. Dr. Yılmaz sözlerine şöyle devam ediyor:
“Acil servis koridorlarını dolduran vakaların sadece %20’sihayatı tehdit edici vakalardan oluşuyor. Çoğu poliklinik koşullarında çözülebilecek sorunlar ile gelen hastalar hem daha acil müdahale gerektiren vakaların önünde engel oluşturuyor hem de hızlı bakım alamadıklarında fiziksel ya da sözlü şiddete başvurarak ortamın kaotik bir hal almasına neden oluyor. Türkiye’deki nüfusun iki katı sayıda acil başvuru oranları hiçbir OECD ülkesinde yok.”
Sadece Acil servisler değil, polikliniklerde de sağlıkçıya şiddet benzer oranlarda yaşanıyor. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz 2020 yılında toplam 11 bin 942 beyaz kod verildiğini belirtiyor.
Acil Servislerde Şiddeti Önleme Raporu’na göre Acil Tıp uzmanlarının %98’i tüm meslek hayatları boyunca en az bir kez sözlü veya fiziksel şiddete maruz kalmış durumda!
Rapora göre, Acil Tıp uzmanlarının %90’ı Sağlık Bakanlığı, sağlık İl Müdürlükleri ve Hastane idarecileri nezdinde şiddet olaylarına yeterli önemin ve hassasiyetin gösterilmediğini; hastane güvenlikleri ve kolluk kuvvetlerinin de olaylarla ilgili yeterli önlem almadıklarını düşünüyor.
Sorunun çözümünün hastanelerin büyütülmesi, doktor sayısının arttırılması olmadığının altını özellikle çiziyor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz; “Bu çözümler sadece doktor ile hasta arasındaki sürtüşmenin artmasına neden olur” diye de ekliyor. Acil Tıp asistan hekimliğine başlayanların %7’si ilk 6 ayda istifa ediyor. Önümüzdeki yıllarda ülkemiz acil servislerinde kaliteli hizmet almak istiyorsak “Sağlıkta Dönüşüm Programı tekrar gözden geçirilmeli” diyor.
