She graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. She worked as a general practitioner in various health institutions between 1991-2000. After completing her specialization training at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine between 2001-2004, she continued to work as an attending physician in the same department. Between 2006-2009, she completed her PhD in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physiology. She received the title of Assistant Professor in 2009, Associate Professor in 2012, and Professor in 2020. She is still working as a faculty member in Bursa Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. Her areas of interest are; postgraduate education, Toxicology, Electrocardiography, Geriatric Emergency Medicine, Resuscitation, Trauma and Wellness. She is currently the Associate Editor of Anatolian Journal of Emergency Medicine and a member of the Emergency Medicine Qualification Board Accreditation Commission.
