MISSION (Purpose)

To represent EMAT and Turkish Emergency Medicine in the international emergency medicine field, to uplift Turkish Emergency Medicine over the qualified scientific and ethical standards in the international field.

 

VISION (Task)

• To increase the knowledge level of EMAT members in the field of International Emergency Medicine, to provide information sharing, consultancy and access to resources,
• To establish and carry out relations with international organizations, associations, federations which EMAT is a member of as well as with natural persons in cooperation, to take charge, conduct projects in the working groups and committees under these organizations,
• To work with international institutions and organizations cooperated with to create joint traning means and opportunities.
• To represent EMAT and take charge in scientific activities such as congresses and symposiums in the field of International Emergency Medicine,
• To advise the organizing committee of EMAT in national and international congresses and other scientific events for the participation of members of international emergency medicine and the participation of foreign invited speakers, to mediate the communication in between,
• To promote the emergency medicine of our country and EMAT in the field of International Emergency Medicine, increase it’s recognition,
• To follow the development of emergency medical speciality training regarding international standards, to cooperate with the relevant commissions of EMAT and the Competency Board,
• To cooperate with the emergency medicine associations of the countries where the emergency medicine specialization training is settled or with the related associations and official institutions of the countries in which speciality training is at the stage of establishment.
• To be active for increasing the opportunuties of emergency medicine specialists and trainees in terms of rotation between the countries in the field of International Emergency Medicine,
• To develop policies, publish guidelines and conduct scientific studies on international emergency medicine,
• To make printed publications or electronic announcements related to international emergency medicine and to translate the required documents and books.
