Toksikolojiye bizim d\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131zda nas\u0131l bak\u0131l\u0131yor neler yap\u0131l\u0131yor ile alakal\u0131 yeni bir \u015feyler \u00f6\u011frenmek olduk\u00e7a heyecan verici a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7as\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00fcnyada, toksikolojinin ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131n\u0131 insanl\u0131k tarihi ile birlikte ba\u015flatmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. 16. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Paracelsus\u2019un zehiri tan\u0131mlayan \u201cHer madde zehirdir, zehir olmayan madde yoktur; zehirle ilac\u0131 birbirinden ay\u0131ran onun dozudur\u201d s\u00f6zleriyle birlikte modern toksikolojinin temelleri at\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Alfred Swaine Taylor (1806-1880) ise ayn\u0131 konuda \u201cK\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck dozda bir zehir ila\u00e7t\u0131r, y\u00fcksek dozda bir ila\u00e7 zehirdir\u201d demektedir.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>XX. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131na kadar, d\u00fcnyam\u0131zda kullan\u0131lan kimyasallar\u0131n say\u0131s\u0131 olduk\u00e7a azken, XX. y\u00fczy\u0131ldaki h\u0131zl\u0131 geli\u015fmeler, kullan\u0131lan kimyasallar\u0131n say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 da h\u0131zla art\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn b\u00fcy\u00fck b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc sentetik olmak \u00fczere 60.000\u2019in \u00fczerinde kimyasal maddenin \u00e7e\u015fitli ama\u00e7lar i\u00e7in kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilinmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Zehirlerin kaynaklar\u0131, fiziksel, kimyasal ve biyolojik \u00f6zellikleri, canl\u0131 organizmada u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fim ve etki mekanizmalar\u0131, toksik dozlar\u0131, zehirlenmelerin tedavileri, zehirlerin izolasyonu, nitel ve nicel analizleri, toksik maddelerin g\u00fcvenceli kullan\u0131m\u0131 i\u015fin risk analizleri ve standardizasyonlar\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131lmas\u0131 &#8220;modern toksikoloji&#8221;nin u\u011fra\u015f alan\u0131 i\u00e7ine girmektedir.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<p>G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde, modern ya\u015fam\u0131n s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclmesinin bir gere\u011fi olarak kimyasallar\u0131n artan miktarlarda kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 ve bunlar\u0131n yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 tehlikeler toksikolojinin \u00f6nemini giderek art\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Her geli\u015fen bilim dal\u0131 gibi toksikoloji de alt dallara ayr\u0131larak geli\u015fmesini s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmektedir.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Klinik Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211;<\/em><\/strong> Ba\u015fta ila\u00e7, kozmetik, tar\u0131m ilac\u0131, g\u0131da katk\u0131 maddeleri, ev temizlik malzemesi ve end\u00fcstriyel kimyasallarla meydana gelen zehirlenmelerin tedavisini \u00fcstlenen ve yeni tedavi yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesi ile u\u011fra\u015fan, toksikolojinin alt dallar\u0131ndan birisidir. Klinik Toksikoloji, d\u00fcnyada ilk defa 1968 y\u0131l\u0131nda, Amerikan Klinik Toksikoloji Akademisi\u2019nin kurulmas\u0131yla bilimsel olarak g\u00fcndeme gelmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong><em>Adli (Forensic) <\/em><\/strong><\/u><strong><em><u>Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211; <\/em><\/strong>Zehirlerin su\u00e7 unsuru olarak kullan\u0131lmalar\u0131 binlerce y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine dayanmaktad\u0131r. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k yapan maddeler de dahil olmak \u00fczere adli t\u0131bb\u0131n konusuna giren zehirlenme olaylar\u0131nda adli toksikologlar, analitik toksikoloji y\u00f6ntemlerini kullanarak v\u00fccut s\u0131v\u0131 ve dokular\u0131nda yapt\u0131klar\u0131 analizler ile adalete \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutmaktad\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Mesleki Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211; <\/em><\/strong>Toksikoloji ile \u0130\u015f Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve \u0130\u015f Hijyeni entegre \u015fekilde \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r. \u0130\u015fyeri ve is\u00e7i g\u00fcvenli\u011fi ile ilgili g\u00fcvenlik \u00f6nlemleri, ortam standardizasyonu ile ilgilenir. End\u00fcstriyel alanda zehirlenme etkenlerinin g\u00fcvenli s\u0131n\u0131rlarda oldu\u011fu d\u00fczeyleri belirler.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>\u00c7evresel Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211; <\/em><\/strong>\u00c7evredeki kimyasallar\u0131n zarar\u0131 yaln\u0131zca insana ba\u011fl\u0131 de\u011fildir. \u00c7evredeki hayvanlar ve bitkiler de bu kimyasallardan zarar g\u00f6rmektedir. Yeni bir dal olan \u00e7evresel toksikoloji \u00e7evredeki kimyasallar ile hayvanlar, bitkiler ve di\u011fer canl\u0131lar aras\u0131ndaki etkile\u015fmeleri zararl\u0131 sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 y\u00f6n\u00fcnden inceler.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Analitik Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211; <\/em><\/strong>Kimyasallar\u0131n v\u00fccut s\u0131v\u0131 ve dokular\u0131ndan analizini konu alan bilim dal\u0131d\u0131r. Aletli analiz y\u00f6ntemlerindeki h\u0131zl\u0131 geli\u015fme \u00e7ok d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck deri\u015fimlerin dahi analizine imkan sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Analitik toksikoloji y\u00f6ntemleri toksikolojinin t\u00fcm alanlar\u0131nda kullan\u0131lan yard\u0131mc\u0131 y\u00f6ntemlerdir.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Biyokimyasal Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211; <\/em><\/strong>Kimyasal maddelerin molek\u00fcller d\u00fczeydeki (DNA, RNA, kanser genleri gibi ) etki mekanizmalar\u0131n\u0131 inceler.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Veteriner Toksikoloji<\/u>&#8211;<\/em><\/strong> hayvan zehirlenmelerinin tan\u0131 ve tedavisi ile ilgilenir. En \u00f6nemli konusu et, bal\u0131k, s\u00fct ve di\u011fer besin maddelerinde bulunabilen toksinlerin insanlara ge\u00e7i\u015fini ara\u015ft\u0131rmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Bunlarla alakal\u0131 olarak doktora programlar\u0131 geli\u015ftirilmektedir. \u00dclkemizde \u015fu an aktif olarak <strong><em>Adli Toksikoloji, Farmas\u00f6tik Toksikoloji<\/em><\/strong> doktora programlar\u0131 bulunmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Adli toksikoloji program\u0131nda<\/u>;<\/em><\/strong> Adli Bilimler sahas\u0131 i\u00e7inde \u00f6nemli bir yer tutan Adli Toksikoloji alan\u0131nda bilgi ve beceriye sahip adli bilimler uzmanlar\u0131n\u0131n yeti\u015ftirilmesi hedeflenmektedir. Program mezunlar\u0131 akademik alanda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na devam edebilecekleri gibi Adli T\u0131p Kurumu ve \u00fcniversitelerin Adli T\u0131p Anabilim Dallar\u0131nda, Adli T\u0131p Enstit\u00fclerinde bilirki\u015filik hizmetlerinde de g\u00f6rev yapabileceklerdir.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Farmas\u00f6tik Toksikoloji program\u0131nda<\/u>; <\/em><\/strong>kimyasal bile\u015fiklerin insanlar, hayvan ve \u00e7evre sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00fczerinde neden olacaklar\u0131 potansiyel riskleri tespit etmek ve bunlar\u0131n \u00f6nlenmesi ve tedavisi i\u00e7in gerekli bilgiye sahip donan\u0131ml\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar yeti\u015ftirmektir. \u00dclkemizde toksikolojiyi ilgilendiren ba\u015fta ila\u00e7 olmak \u00fczere, g\u0131da, kozmetik ve end\u00fcstriyel kimyasallar\u0131n g\u00fcvenlili\u011fi ile ilgili t\u00fcm platformlarda do\u011fru kararlar verilebilmesi i\u00e7in bilimsel yakla\u015f\u0131ma ve derin toksikoloji bilgisine sahip toksikologlar\u0131n yeti\u015ftirilmesini ama\u00e7lamaktad\u0131r. Mezun olanlar Sa\u011fl\u0131k Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u00c7evre Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131, G\u0131da, Tar\u0131m ve Hayvanc\u0131l\u0131k Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131, Refik Saydam H\u0131fz\u0131ss\u0131hha Merkezi, \u0130l Kontrol Laboratuvarlar\u0131 gibi devlet kurumlar\u0131nda t\u0131bbi \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin ruhsatland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131, biyolojik ve biyolojik olmayan \u00f6rnek ve \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin analizleri gibi alanlarda, \u00f6zel analiz ve test laboratuvarlar\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabilmektedirler. Ayr\u0131ca zehir dan\u0131\u015fma merkezlerinde g\u00f6rev alabilmekte, farmas\u00f6tik, kozmetik, g\u0131da ve kimya end\u00fcstrisinin AR-GE b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabilmektedirler.<\/p>\n<p>Pratikte Adli Toksikolojiden ziyade Farmas\u00f6tik Toksikoloji program\u0131 Acil T\u0131p uygulamalar\u0131na daha yak\u0131n bir programd\u0131r. Bizim klinik olarak de\u011ferlendirdi\u011fimiz toksikoloji d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda, analiz y\u00f6ntemlerini \u00f6\u011frenmek, molek\u00fcler d\u00fczeyiyle alakal\u0131 daha fazla bilgi sahibi olmak olduk\u00e7a keyifli.<\/p>\n<p>Bu yaz\u0131y\u0131 yazarken baz\u0131 arkada\u015flar nas\u0131l kay\u0131t yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, hangi derslerin oldu\u011fuyla alakal\u0131 benden bilgi istediler. Bunu da buradan payla\u015fmak istedim. \u00d6ncelikle ALES (Akademik Lisans \u00dcst\u00fc E\u011fitim S\u0131nav\u0131)\u2019e girmek gerekiyor. Ayr\u0131ca Yabanc\u0131 Dil s\u0131navlar\u0131ndan bir tanesinden al\u0131nacak puanda \u00f6nemli sonras\u0131nda diploma notunuzla bunlar\u0131 harmanlay\u0131p ba\u015far\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131na yerle\u015ftiriliyorsunuz ve buna g\u00f6re m\u00fclakata \u00e7a\u011f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yorsunuz. M\u00fclakatta genel olarak toksikolojinin temel ilkelerini ve \u201cneden toksikoloji doktoras\u0131 yapmak istiyorsunuz?\u201d u soruyorlar.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00fclakattan sonra ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olursan\u0131z 2 y\u0131l ders 2 y\u0131l tez d\u00f6nemi olmak \u00fczere maraton ba\u015fl\u0131yor.
